On the 24th of march,was rather memorable for me.I went out
alone to the national library.And as per usual,I grabbed the
malay novels and hair magazines and sat at the children's section.
It took me an hour or so to read those books and flip through the
magazines until I realise that I need to pee.I did,and after that
I've decided to hit Bugis Junction.Alone.Went to Kinokuniya.
And went in the miscellaneous items shops,blah-blahs.A while
later,I received an SMS by Hakimah saying she couldn't make it.
Depressed,I bought myself a movie ticket-Mr Bean's holiday.Well,
yes.You can call me a retard if you want to,watching the movies alone.
After the movies,Hakimah decided to meet me at there.So at,8.oopm
I waited for her at one corner playing with my handphone and replying
Dann's smses.We sort of lost each other for a moment because of the crowd.
After being successfully meet-up,we then started our destination:To reach
Orchard by walking.It's the usuals,we walked and talked and laughed at the
same time.We passed the terrific Cathay,and finally The Istana.It was a tiring
walk actually because halfway,we stopped at centrepoint where then she decided to
grab a midnight movie.So I brainstormed.With Nazmi along?Well,Okay then.
We headed for LIDO,which is a long distance walk from somerset to Orchard.
We see all kinds of people,from Mat reps to Emoguys and Ang mohs.
We waited and laze at LIDO,okay,the top,where the cinemas were situated.
She took her pictures with my camera,trying to overcome her boredom.
I stared blankly into space,singing the 'Gurindam Jiwa' song plus
murmered to FallOutBoy's Thnks fr th mmrs.It's a great sight,especially
the part where this
kacukan family came in.They have this awesome hot
looking son,around the age of 18-20.I have his picture in my camera though[:
We bought Stomp the Yard tickets,which starts at 2350.We waited for nazmi,which was
really exhausting,because it was unbelievably a long wait(macam tunggu tuan
puteri,you.)Well,it was a pretty good movie.Even though we missed the front
parts.
After the movie which ends at..2am?We decided to walk from Orchard to
Esplanade and took a bus ride home.It was really really late.Hakimah and
I do not need to worry because none of our parents were at home!They went to
Malaysia for two days and it's our girls' night out.Well,except for the fact
that Nazmi isn't one.Another long-distance with unknown guys staring at us
when they passed us.Men who are drunk and the stinky aroma of beers surrounds
the places we've been.I took the night scene pictures,even.There's some
race going on with the cars yesterday too.It's already 3am.I don't know
how many laps,but it's annoying yet quite an amazing night scene.
At the esplanade,there's a restaurant called DXO.There was a riot there,
between the Chinese and the Indians.Somehow,I felt that they were being
racists to one another.The Indians were rather fed-up with the Chinese
and they fought.The Indians were like,"You want Indian?Let me give you Indian.
You know where I work?Huh?Huh?" so on and so forth.I think the restaurant guy
assaulted the Indians.This is Singapore we're talking about people.
We,live in harmony,okay?Please don't let such things happen again.
Oh,FYI we took NR5 back home(: and during the journey,we slept.
&,regarding the fight.I actually criticized their actions.
"Aisey,macam cerita bollywood lahs.Tapi ini REAL LIVE punya."
Well,I was just trying to brighten up the hectic situation there.
Though,it appears to be useful between the three of us only.
And,fuck.I lost my handphone batteries.THERE,at esplanade's BUS STOP.
Well,we reached home at about 4.30am.
Cool?Doubt so.
